Data Storage Corporation Merges with ABC Services

Acquisition enables the extension of network and data security solutions, managed services, infrastructure as a service, and storage offerings for both companies

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Data Storage Corporation (OTCQB:DTST), a provider of diverse business continuity and disaster recovery protection solutions, today announced the acquisition of ABC Services and ABC Services II, a 25-year provider of IBM equipment, infrastructure as a service, managed and professional services, including the remaining 50% ownership of Secure Infrastructure and Services.

Due to the acquisition, Data Storage Corporation will expand its current solutions including email archival and compliance, Recovery Cloud, Office 365, IBM DR and Cloud Servers, while leveraging ABC’s network and data security, managed services and equipment. Tom Kempster, president of ABC, will be responsible for DSC’s Technical Operations Group and will serve as president of that unit. Hal Schwartz, president of Secure Infrastructure and Services, will serve as DSC’s new president.
